Ben’s favorite past time touring the deserts out in Arizona

Steve and Ben

Our Story

We met in 1982 in Elk City, Oklahoma during the final days of the biggest Oil Boom Oklahoma and Texas had ever experienced. It took a while to figure out who we were, and several different chapters of life before we came to settle in Arizona.

There is not enough room and certainly not enough memory left to fill in the gaps of Steve's and Ben's journey as they strolled along on their walk of life. The goal we have strived for is to not become too serious or fancy. We are plainly spoken, down to earth; who have became happy watching the lights of the city from a far distance as we watch the sun set from our desert dwelling.  We still sport a Chevy pickup and retain at least one hound dog scratching his neck as he lies around the back porch.

Our dog…an American Fox Hound named Shooter can't catch his own shadow but he has one hell of a bark! We also share space with a Siamese cat named Blanche who declares rules concerning which spaces may be used and by whom throughout certain times of the day.

Steve is the big city business dude riding the wheels of success with an agency sub-contracting with the Federal Government (Think Darren on Bewitched). He investigates employee relations complaints at various levels throughout differing organizations that provide services to the general public under the umbrella of federal contracts. I'll leave it at that because it makes his job more daring and suspenseful to whoever is reading this.

Ben is a work in progress. The days of chasing crooks, flying across patrol car dashboards and bar fight scuffles from his police days began catching up. Like a pro-athletes parts wear out... it appeared amazingly as Ben entered his mid 40's his parts began needing oiled and extra attention from his earlier scrapes in life both professional and self inflicted.

Ben likes to say…

“It may take a little longer but I’ll get there!”

The only thing better than checking out our website is actually visiting us in person...ask anyone who's been here...Before leaving you will always hear us say…

“thank you for visiting and we are sure proud you stopped by!”

Until we have the pleasure of visiting with you again...may you have the very best fortune, good health and all the happiness possible!

Peace!

The Truck

Steve surprised Ben with a new truck during the summer of 2009.

Big tires and a genuine man engine under the hood!
